Kiwanis Club of Bourne Wareham History
- The Kiwanis Club of Bourne Wareham was chartered on September 21, 2010.
- Major Milestones: Upon chartering the club focused on bring Service Leadership Program (SLP) to the two communities. These included K-Kids, Builder Clubs, and Key Clubs in both communities. The club also participated in support of an Aktion Club which had been started by a charter member of the parent club.
- Community Impact:It should be noted the continuing impact the SLP's have had on each community.
- Notable Members: Charter member William Jenkins has served as Lt Governor, Treasurer, Secretary and Governor (2016-17) of the New England & Bermuda District of Kiwanis.
- Historical Photos and Media: Visual documentation of club activities and events throughout its history.
- Current Mission and Goals: To improve the lives of children, one child and one community at a time.
